There's no Remedy for Memory

Today's look :)

Here is some background to the outfit.
The top: It was my Mum's till she decided she to pass it down to me. It's from Theory.
The ring: It was given to me by the lady who did my make up for prom. I've started wearing it every day recently because I love it so much.
The earring: I REALLY want to get my Helix/Cartilage pierced, but my Mum won't let me, so I bought this at H&M. The top part hooks on to the cartilage, so there is no need for it to be pierced.
The nails: Inspired by Marina Diamandis from Marina and the Diamonds. She has sunflower nails in this video, this video, this video, and this video. I really liked them and so Ren came over and we did our nails. It turned out to be quite difficult, so I only did one finger.

Children of the Revolution

Hello

Today I decided to post a look :). It's called 'Children of the Revolution' and is named after the song by T-Rex (link below).
Summer has started, exams are over and Ren and I are on holiday now. We are both excited, because we have no school. We do, however have Summer homework :(.

I'm moving, so I've slowly started purging my closet of clothes and stuff. If there is enough interest, I could possibly do a give-away. But it's a maybe.

Travel wise, both Ren and I are staying in our city for most if not all of Summer. Some of my friends from other countries are coming, so I'll/we'll be hanging out with them and saying goodbye to people. What are your Summer plans?

Now time for the look...
I go through lots of phases, and one of them was my Che phase. The tee is from that phase. The shorts I've had for a few months now (from Forever New), and they have featured in a few of my other looks. The shoes are just plain black sandals with studs on them. I got them so long ago and I've forgotten where they come from, and I've had the heels re-done so I can't check. If anyone knows, please tell me.

DIY Activites

Hellooo,

I love repurposing old things or customizing new stuff. I'm a horder. I'll admit it, so the way that I let myself keep things, is by repurposing them and using them for something else. A few weeks ago, I posted a list of things I would like to make on my Tumblr. It is a list of (mainly) DIY things and two cooking projects (hummus and cup cakes).

Watch this space for updates on what I do.

Hello (again),

Yesterday I spent the day at a food and music festival-thingy. It was a stunning day and the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was happy listening to music and eating delicious food. This is the outfit I wore. The smock is from chicwish. I love, love, love their clothing and I am hoping to get some more soon. The dress I bought in India at a store called Anokhi. When I bought the candyfloss, it was double its size and it was HUGE. My sister and I shared it and there was so much we shared it with all the people we were with.

This is very overdue...

Hiya guys,

Ren and I are listening to our friend Beka practice her part for our history project. I thought this look was posted on the blog, but it seems it wasn't. Told you I would post a new look. Well, actually, I've posted TWO!
I've also compiled a list of DIY projects I would like to do. That will also be up on this blog soon :D.

So this is the look, Ren and Beka and Brown-Tea (our other friend) came over to work on our project, and I drew out a hopscoth thingy and I was playing hopscotch in the street.
